I met up with Maddie + Joel this past Friday at Alapocas Run State Park in Delaware. We lucked out with the most gorgeous golden hour! I am so looking forward to their wedding this October!
Katie + Matt | In-Home Engagement Session | Washington, D.C
My cheeks hurt after I hung out with Katie + Matt for a couple of hours. They're such a freaking joy to be around! They wanted to go for something a little cozier and more "them" for their engagement session, so we opted for an in-home session! Lauryn + Ian | Backyard Wedding in New Germany State Park
Lauryn + Ian are two of the sweetest people I've ever met. They tied the knot this past weekend at Lauryn's childhood home tucked in the woods of New Germany State Park. A perfect backdrop - I know! Lauryn + Ian grew up together and their families have been friends for years. Not until a few years back did they realize the other was there all along. Such a sweet story that matched their beautiful personalities.
The forecast was unfortunately 100% rain all day long. Their property was stunning (you'll see) and I was praying we'd get a break in the weather to capture some portraits. It rained their entire ceremony but I loved their rain plan - umbrellas. The day was filled with such joy that the rain didn't even matter.

Matt + Morgan | Georgetown Engagement Session
Jonathan and I photographed Matt + Morgan's engagement session on Sunday evening in Georgetown and it was a whole lot of fun! Our cheeks genuinely hurt from laughing and smiling so much with these two. We lucked out with no rain after a day full of a 90% chance of rain forecast and I'm SO glad it worked out!
